Telecom Solutions Engineer

Overview/Job Summary:

The Solutions Engineer will focus on establishing relationships within specific lines of business of Communications Service Providers, the Client’s primary customers. By gaining a strategic position within our Service Provider customers, the candidate will help develop offerings that will drive them to embrace Client’s portfolio of service offerings that are directly linked to Service Provider’s networking, IP inter-operability, Mobile, Enterprise and IP services objectives.

The Solutions Engineer will be partially responsible for quota attainment as part of an integrated selling organization to maximize selling activities across the Client’s account base.  The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for working with a cross-functional Account Team that develops and implements sales, service and support plans for key lines of business with our Service Provider customers whose telecom sectors include wireline, wireless and CATV Multiple System Operators (MSO’s)

The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with Client’s Account team by providing technical expertise and guidance in a pre-sales circumstance.  The Account team will develop and execute account-specific plans to drive technical and bottom-line solutions (products and services) though various direct and indirect sales channels. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will provide customers with a single point of contact for technical issues, increasing customer satisfaction and driving customer loyalty.

Candidates may work virtual or from home office, and thus may reside anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area or surrounding communities.
